My practice explores the human experience within architectural spaces, seeking to activate personal memory and examine how environments—both real and remembered—shape us psychologically and emotionally. I draw inspiration from ancient monuments, sacred spaces, and vernacular urban and rural structures. Through a considered use of form, texture, and composition, I aim to create contemplative portals that invite introspection and a deeper connection to the places we inhabit—and those we carry within us. Working primarily with wood, I often incorporate found branches, metal, and stone to create sculptures that balance geometric and architectural forms with organic and draped elements.
